Da venerdì 24 luglio le opere di Katsushika Hokusai tornano in esposizione nella sezione di arte giapponese.
Le opere su carta richiedono periodi di riposo dall’esposizione per preservarne la bellezza nel tempo: concluso questo riposo, le stampe di Hokusai fanno ora ritorno tra le sale del museo.
Chi verrà a trovarci da venerdì avrà il piacere di ritrovare, o scoprire per la prima volta, lo sguardo inconfondibile di Hokusai sul mondo.
Back from rest: Hokusai back on display
From Friday the 24th of July, Katsushika Hokusai’s works return on display in our Japanese prints section.
Works on paper require periods of rest from display to preserve their beauty over time: having now completed this rest, Hokusai’s prints make their return to the museum’s galleries.
Visitors joining us from Friday onwards will have the pleasure of rediscovering, or discovering for the first time, Hokusai’s unmistakable vision of the world.
